All you need to know about Anchor Ads

Today we would like to introduce you to the ad format Anchor Ads (or Sticky Ads as they’re also known as). These are a great way to unlock additional ad revenue across your sites.

If you are not familiar with Anchor Ads, here is a short primer:

As the name implies, these ad units are anchored to the viewport for the duration a visitor is on your page and stay visible regardless of the scroll depth (unless they are actively closed by the user). Please have a look at the two animations below to get a feel how they work.

They therefore have a high viewability resulting in high eCPMs. Thanks to a variety of supported sizes, Anchor Ads are suitable for desktop, mobile web and AMP.

Desktop:

Can be anchored to Top, Bottom, Left and Right.

970×90, 728×90, 600×336, 600×300, 600×160, 600×120

Mobile:

Can be anchored to Top or Bottom.
